Terry Fator: The VOICE of Entertainment has taken Las Vegas by storm with its entertaining cast of puppets, superb ventriloquism, amazing singing, impersonations and cutting edge comedy.
Terry Fator, season 2 winner of America?s Got Talent, recently celebrated the 7th anniversary of his headlining show at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. And while some shows can become stale after so many years, Fator clearly updates his show regularly. This was my first time seeing Terry Fator: The VOICE of Entertainment, so I can’t speak to how often it is updated, but his hilarious jokes reflected the current election and political candidates and the music included recent top hits like “Hello” by Adele, “Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars and “All About That Bass” by Meghan Trainor.
Fator starts the show with one of his most famous puppets, Winston the Turtle. Winston decides to leave to work on movies in California and Fator spends the rest of the show auditioning his cast of characters to find a replacement for Winston. Those auditioning include selfie-taking Emma Taylor, Julius, Wrex the Crash Test Dummy, Vicki “The Cougar”, Walter T. Airedale, Elvis impersonator Maynard Tompkins, Duggie Scott Walker, Rusty the Robot and Hyphen, the 5th Beatle.
The vocal ability and range displayed by Fator is truly amazing, the years of practice to perfect his craft are evident. He is a master at vocal impression and showcases this impressive skill by performing a wide variety of songs by many different artists including Michael Jackson, Elvis, Garth Brooks, Roy Orbison, The Beatles and Metallica. Fator?s humor is infectious and keeps the audience laughing between songs and the integration of video clips during the performance adds to the hilarity.
In his effort to keep the show ever-changing, Fator introduced his newest cast member, Fernando V. Francisco for his 7th anniversary. Francisco is a lover of women who could be the love child of Julio Iglesias and The Most Interesting Man in the World. Singing “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” “Hero,” and “To All the Girls I’ve Loved Before,” Francisco is an irresistible addition to this lovable cast of characters.
If you’re looking for a great night of laughs, Terry Fator: The VOICE of Entertainment, is not to be missed! Fator announced that he has signed a new 5 year contract with The Mirage so you have plenty of time to see this fabulous show again and again!
